Lewisham Child Sexual Abuse Pathway Lunchtime Briefing
To support the implementation of the Lewisham Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) Pathway, the Lewisham Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) partners are working in collaboration to bring you a lunchtime briefing to assist you in developing your practice. We encourage you to identify what members of staff will benefit by attending one of that dates that are outlined below.
Aims and Objectives
Lewisham Safeguarding Children Partnership has updated its multi-agency Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) pathway, that has been designed to guide professionals and volunteers through the appropriate steps when responding to disclosures, allegations, or concerns of CSA. Lewisham’s CSA Pathway supports timely and informed decision-making and ensures that there is multi-agency collaboration, to provide a consistent and coordinated response to CSA allegations.

- To understand the Lewisham CSA Pathway
- To understand the Havens Children & Young People service
- To know when to refer to the Havens medical forensics
- To understand when to apply Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Responses
