Lewisham Family Information Service (FIS) offers free and impartial advice to families.
FIS also support families with finding childcare and accessing funded early education entitlements places for children 9 months-4-year-olds.
Updating your vacancies
Ofsted registered childcare providers can promote their setting and vacancies for FREE using the provider portal.
Login details are provided on request allowing you to update your vacancies any time of the day.
Contact fis@lewisham.gov.uk to request login details if you do not already have one.

Family Information Service (FIS) Weekly Drop-in Sessions
Looking for childcare support in Lewisham?
FIS offers weekly drop-in sessions to provide impartial advice for parents regarding childcare and other relevant services in the borough.
FIS team provides guidance on available childcare options in the area and support parents in applying for funded 15 hours childcare for 2-year-olds. We also provide information on entitlements for working parents with children aged 9 months to 4 years.
Drop-in Locations:
@ Catford Library: Wednesdays (fortnightly) 10:30am - 12:30pm
@ Downham Health & Leisure Centre: Thursdays ( weekly) 10am-12pm
