  • Sustainability Lead Requirement: Group-based and school-based providers are expected to designate a sustainability lead to oversee energy/water usage, waste reduction, and staff training.
  • Action-Oriented Approach: The focus is on practical, meaningful change, such as establishing "Eco Corners" for environmental education and enhancing outdoor learning.
  • Curriculum Integration: Sustainability is being integrated into early education to teach children about caring for the environment, wildlife, and community, encouraging habits that protect the future.
