Understanding the SEND Graduated Approach – Part 2

This two‑session training offer is designed to equip early years practitioners with the confidence and practical tools needed to implement the graduated approach when supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Across the sessions, practitioners will explore a clear and manageable framework for:

Attending both sessions will provide the most comprehensive learning experience; however, each session is also designed to stand alone and can be attended independently.

Session two is what happens next. When support is in place, has been reviewed, and the child’s needs are unchanged or progress is limited. In this session we focus on referrals to partner services, funding available to support children with SEND in your setting and how this all links together to create a Graduated Approach.

This session is suitable for Early Years Practitioners working in nurseries, schools and out of school settings.

This session will be face to face at the Civic Suite in Catford SE6.
