Deepening Support for Children with SLCN, DLD and EAL

 This session introduces the Early Years Speech, Language and Communication Toolkit — a  practical resource designed to help SENCOs build a clearer picture of each child’s language profile and confidently support staff to take action.

Explore:

• How to distinguish between EAL, SLCN and DLD
• How to use the communication and EAL checklists effectively
• Ways to prioritise support and plan next steps with confidence

Come away with tools, insights and strategies that will make conversations with parents, practitioners and therapists more focused, consistent and evidence-informed.

This session will include a networking lunch session from 12:30-1:30pm.
