PVI DSL Forum (virtual)

Join us for a vital professional development forum tailored for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) working in PVI nursery settings. This session offers updates, insights, and opportunities to connect with fellow DSLs and safeguarding professionals—sharing best practices and strengthening our collective approach to child protection.

Sophia Wilson will be talking to us about Special Guardianship Orders (SGO’s), the roles and responsibilities involved and where to go for support.

Nikki Thorpe will also share feedback from the LSCP’s Section 11 survey—the self‑assessment organisations complete to demonstrate how they are meeting their statutory safeguarding duties under Section 11 of the Children Act 2004—and outline what this means for early years providers.
